San Diego LGBT Pride is pleased to announce America’s Pride as the theme for its 38^th Annual Pride Celebration weekend, July 20 – 22, 2012. “The promise of America grounded in the Constitution, contained in our Pledge of Allegiance, inscribed on the Statue of Liberty and enunciated by generations of our nation’s leaders is that America stands for liberty, for justice, for equality for all. This has been America’s Pride,” announced Dwayne Crenshaw, executive director of San Diego LGBT Pride. (Read More)

Harvey Milk Street:

San Diego Pride is heading up an effort to have a street in San Diego named after LGBT civil rights leader Harvey Milk. Help the effort by signing our online pledge, so San Diego can join the State of California, and cities around the world in recognizing Harvey Milk for his leadership in the movement for freedom, equality, and inclusion for the LGBT community.

Next Board Meeting:

The next San Diego Pride Board meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at 6:30 p.m. It will take place at the Pride office located at 3620 30th Street.  The public is welcome to attend.

San Diego LGBT Pride is currently seeking candidates for the Pride Board of Directors.  Send your resume and a brief statement explaining why you would like to serve as a board member to boarddevelopment@sdpride.org.  Interested parties will be contacted upon receipt of the email.
